Okay, compared to conventional digital printing, letterpress isn’t cheap – but that’s exactly why you’ll want it. Materials are premium quality and everything, but everything is handmade, which takes time – and the result is worth it. The good news is that being a small letterpress printer – whilst the quality is the same – the cost is more affordable and we always try to work within your budget.
Lead time is ideally six weeks from approval of final artwork to delivery (allow additional days for country or interstate delivery).
DIGITAL ARTWORK OPTION
Stationery for the Big Day The Digital Artwork Option is for letterpress customers who would rather not stretch their budget to letterpress for those additional items needed for the event day, such as place cards, ceremony books, seating charts, signage, menus, etc. We create digital artwork for any 3 items of your choice, so that everything matches the design of your letterpressed stationery and looks consistently beautiful. Then you organise the digital printing yourself to save money.
Very happy to liaise with your digital printer directly for setup or technical issues. Also happy to recommend a local printer who’s reliable and reasonable.
This service costs $175 for any 3 items of your choice. Only available to our letterpress customers.
NEED MORE INFORMATION?
Download HELPFUL ADVICE for advice on set up when supplying your own artwork (subject to suitability for letterpress printing). Note that large areas of solid ink don’t work as well in letterpress – finer lines and line art are what it does best.
To use another language (Hebrew or Greek for instance), we can provide the typeface and wording to your instructions, or you may supply it yourself as a text or artwork file. Proof reading is the responsibility of the customer.
LEAD AIN’T DEAD
There’s usually a combination of both old and new technology to create our letterpress lovelies. If you prefer to go old-school all the way, it’ll be a pleasure to handset your stationery in typefaces and embellishments from traditional lead type and printing block collections – the way it’s been done for hundreds of years.
